Meet AyuRaws Creator Ms. Niyoni Owens

“I’ve always had a passion for health and healing. My education in herbal medicine started as a child as my grandmother and parents often incorporated natural medicine. An educational path was not clear back then in natural medicine but I had always had a nagging desire and passion for people and their health and healing. Starting out, I went on to earn my first degree in biochemistry from CSULB and then worked 11 years in Pharmaceutical research and manufacturing. I then fell ill and after trying to find relief and being unable to, I reached back to those things that had been instilled in me as a young girl and began to utilize them and then is when I felt better. From there, the fire was ignited and I realized that this was my God given purpose. I went on to pursue a Masters in Herbal Medicine from ACHS a Doctorate in herbal medicine from AMNAH and my degrees in Ayurvedic medicine from SCUHS as a Ayurvedic Educator and Practitioner.”
